Boas eu tenho andado com um pequeno problema. Já tenho tudo bem configurado no rc.conf e ja tenho o profile feito na network.d e tenho tentado usar o netcfg2 e o wifi radar embora não me tenha conseguido ligar com nenhum dos dois.

alguem sabe o que é o channel no wifi radar?

ja agora uso a ipw3945, tenho andado no forum do archlinux a pedir ajuda e ja vi que varias pessoas têm problemas em ligar o wireless com esta driver mas nunca aparece uma solução em nenhum lado.

Se algume tiver sugestões... eu uso a minha rede de casa para fazer testes e se eu tirar a wep key consigo ligar na boa mas se meter a wep deixo de me conseguir ligar :S já tentei aumentar o timeout e o dhcp_timeout no profile mas memso assim não resolve o problema :S

se alguem conseguir ajudar agradecia imenso

que tipo de key tem essa segurança? é que se meter a key igual a wep nem no windows me consigo ligar :S

ja tentei por a key com 10 digitos mas depois nem no widnows me consigo ligar :S

ja agora para me ligar a uma rede com esse tipo de segurança posso usar o wifi radar?

sim, o tipo de key e uma password normal
podes usar qualquer software do genero wifi-radar
o windows, se for o vista teras que apagar a configuracao existente e ligares-te a rede novamente como se fosse a primeira vez, ira pedir password, metes a mesma que definiste no router anteriomente, a nao ser, que tenhas uma placa wireless demasiado antiga que so trabalhe com WEP(o que e uma valente merda que WEP cracka-se em minutos, o que e uma falha de seguranca enorme)

epa tipo no windows ja consegui ligar agora no linux continua sem dar sinal de vida.
no wifi radar meto nas wifi options

mode auto
channel auto
key *********
security restricted

use wpa ipw3945

e resto deixei normal mas não consegue obter ip

ja consegui laugh.gif usei o netcfg alterei o profile ja deu para efetuar ligação wink.gif obrigado
